As much as I love this record I'm going to pass. Already happy with my transparent vinyl copy. Another missed opportunity in the re-re-re issue department. However, I would buy a gold disc like the new Goldmine 12X5. That's interesting enough to buy for the umpteenth time.

Cornetto Swirl Vinyl - see also here: [iorr.org] , [iorr.org] .

It's also part of the [NationalAlbumDay.co.uk] on 19-Oct-2024 - [Townsendmusic.store] - and others.

The British version looks much better. Go England!

Mock-ups .... the real Vinyl could look different. Remember the 2023 RSD Color-Vinyl of Beggar's Banquet.

Never judge a book on its cover.

See the mock-up: [iorr.org] - then see the real Vinyl: [YouTube.com] , [YouTube.com] , [www.hhv.de] . Then you might understand.

Thanks for the link.thumbs up However, I'm more interested in the music, rather than the Ya-Ya's "make-up".

Ps: I'm no philistine.

Depending on the source, could it have the mis press edit of Stray Cat Blues ?

The 2024 Black Vinyl re-press uses the 2003 remaster - [www.hhv.de] . It could be the same for the Colour Cornetto Swirl Vinyl.

It seems strange to me that they make two versions of the same disc with different "graphics". Moreover, in the English version it says: product may differ to image displayed.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the doubt is legitimate.

I've got a couple of older or original pressings in good nick, so I've never thus far sprung for any digital re-issue of Ya Ya's on vinyl.

Are they any good ? worth having for a different sound or balance ?

Unless you care about color vinyl the original pressings are best in my opinion.

I am not an audiophile and do not miss albums at all. I miss those days, but do not miss a record flip, scratches and needles. This was certainly one of my favorite album but it became obsolete once the deluxe edition was released and a full show could be assembled and listened to in true show order. Fabulous. That is the recording I listen to.
