Has Mick Ever Tripped / Fallen on Stage?

One of the most impressive things about Micks' physicality is his sense of balance. He has excellent posture and can still run with a respectable pace without the sort of old man's gait that affects many around his age.

This may seem like a dumb question, but has Mick ever fallen or so much as tripped over his own feet onstage? I have never seen him less than 100 percent on his game when it comes to this.

I've never read or seen anything.

However, how are there three guitars on Crackin' Up (LYL, Mocambo)? Either Mick played or someone overdubbed!!!!

wasn't he hit by a chair onstage in the 60's?

i wouldn't fault him falling down if hit by a chairwinking smiley

and watching clips of people charging onto the stage in the 60's jumping on the band members backs and pulling at them i gotta figure mick must have been pulled down at some point

but that's not really falling is it

Charlie Watts once forced Jagger in a similar situation.

Pretty sure they tripped in the 70s and 80s as well. They’re very clumsy.. apparently

I said it in 2018 because it is a fact in Stones lore.

Now that James Brown and Prince are gone Mick Jagger is the king. After all those years, after thousands of shows, he has never fell down once physically and figuratively. Mick is the ONE.

Never seen Mick trip what I can recall.

Keith has fallen a few times, Indianapolis 2015, Air Canada Centre 2002, and maybe Helsinki 2007?

That fall was hilarious! They opened with SFM, and he fell flat on his back while coming out on stage playing the opening riff. The video used to be on YouTube, but I haven't seen it in a while smiling smiley

EDIT: Found a different video:

first off wow the things you'll find on iorr if you dig deep enough (or have been here long enough) is insane

i've never seen these before but after reading through that entire thread i'm not so sure i buy the notion that mick is the aggressor here

look at mick's feet in the second photo there pointed and in mid stride as if he was walking past him when the photographer came up and put his hand on him and confronted him and mick looks like he's just slightly turning to face him why'll walking past him

and then there's the expressions on mick and jerry's faces

mick looks like he's barely acknowledging the photographer and jerry looks confused and and angry

and in the third mick looks shocked and confused not angry and embarrassed (as i would be at losing a fight in public to man who i assume digs through dumpsters and garbage cans for a living looking for literal celebrity trash)

and i know the story on the other thread is that micks the aggressor and started it and frankly that's not what the second or third photo seem to show

i assume the source for this story is the photographers and the tabloid that bought these photos and as we all know the paparazzi always hold themselves to such a high journalistic and ethical standard and would never spin a story or outright lieeye rolling smiley

plus why would mick be worried enough about this one photographer to start a fight with him when there's another photographer six feet away snapping photos of them too!

no to me it looks like this was staged by the photographer

he approached mick and put his hand on him to make it appear like he was being accosted by him then he publicly assaulted him and pushed him to the ground all while his buddy took photos of it so they could sell them for a profit

scumbagsangry smiley

I saw him sit down and tie his shoe in Chicago 1999

I remember seeing Keith fall down more than once.

No recollection of Mick falling down.

I am sure many of us have tripped at Stones concerts.

There's this clip where a fan makes Keith trip on stage and the Jagger gets really mad at this fan. Not too long ago.

Mick always seems to avoid the Frankfurters and Hamburgers that Keith manages to slip on.

[ as an aside ,It's always been interesting to note the care taken by the crew to keep the stage dry in wet conditions]

During the most recent Foxboro show , Mick had the stage hands remove the runway carpet “so I don’t break my arse” it was pretty impressive to watch it happen while the Stones were performing without skipping a beat.

Never seen it. I have seen them quite a few times, but Mick have never had any issues on stage when running around. Mind you, not even rain do slow Mick down much, but he sure take care in bad weather.

He defenitely got pushed, assaulted and even fell from the stage in the 60s by rushing fans. But other than that I don't remember.

EDIT: Found a different video:

Mick didn't seem concerned.

It seems that they just don't notice things. No one blinked at all when Keith went out of key during SFTD in Miami in 1994 (from what I've found ALL videos of that have been replaced with the fixed audio!!!).

Oh, I take that back: She's So Cold in 1982, wherever that was, Charlie falling way off, Keith not working with him at all, Bill just grinning, Mick saying the hell with it.
