There have been many changes over the years with various apps/sites.

Some changes are subtle or even jarringly subtle - FaceBook, Instagram... where after a few days it's Oh ok. Some changes are so bad people flee (YouTube Music is one I can think of).

iorr.org has maintained an old skool yet still streamlined - and simple - "approach" that has been more "user friendly" than probably anything else.

I'm going to guess, BV, that's because you found what works the best without needing to Jones out ie keep up with... Google Play, for example, devolving to YouTube Music, and really, why change if it's just for the sake of change when what's working works?

That's my perception. Maybe something did change and I didn't notice.

Fantastic work in providing a place, a space, for... words of wonder, words of wisdom, yeah, sure, words of argue etc... but always words of information:

Gazza, Hairball; seems like I'm forgetting a coule of others that have gone on; Rocky Dijon, Doxa, Dande, Treacle, georgelicks, Elmo Lewis, Taylor1, MisterDDDD, SomeTorontoGirl, René, DGA35, SwayStones, NICOS, UrbanSteel, HarlemShuffle's... nevermind; VoodooLounge13, filflam, keefriffhards, More Hot Rocks, ProfessorWolf, JordyLicks96, Spud, gotdablouse, TravelinMan, bye bye johnny...

Loads of others I'm drawing a blank on at the moment... I wish I wasn't forgetting but I am... it is a lot.

People come and go. Some with different names multiple times (I think I've had four since... I dunno, maybe, oh wow, 2010?), with one in particular, and some of you could say to me, HOW CAN YOU FORGET THAT NAME!!!?? kinda pisses me off I can't remember the name... but Mr Done Deal... the name is right here... who quite a few thought became Jumpin'Jack'O'Lantern (son of Beatles guy) and there was one other a bit long as well and, of course, another ridiculous name... something to do with a blaze of glory maybe? It's trying not to drown...

Perhaps my most favorite aspect of iorr.org is the culture. Obviously being a Stones fan is hinted at why one should be here - but not required - but whatever era, there's the UK, Australia, NZ, Canada, UK/Ireland/Europe/Scandinavia, Asia/Indonesia/Malaysia, Mexico, Caribbean, Bahamas, United States... damn, probably many more, it is a big world, over the years, anyway, I can't recall anymore at the moment.

Some people have found recipes!

Or have met up at other shows somewhere - and or a beer; some get together and play Stones music.

Think about that for a minute. Or ten minutes: some people have made some really cool connections because of iorr.org.

I have attempted to be on other band fansites/forums and it can get a bit laborious and forgetful, not necessarily on their part, my part.

Whatever.

Whenever this ends I'm confident some of us will remain in contact someway somewhere somehow eventually, at least for a little while, someday.

Ain't no Lenny Kravitz song yet but it's coming.

Thank you, BV, for somehow being an insanely gracious host and providing such an interesting chatground for, well, I really don't know how long it's been going on.

Thanks for the support and kind words.

I have been planning to do an update on the Stoneslife.org pages, with comments on the Los Angeles rehearsals in April, as well as the tour. Currently I am resting. Coming home after a tour is always the same - exhausted, With jetlag, and in need of loads of rest. After some time of resting, I hope to do an update on Stoneslife about the tour.

.................Imagine having people at the rehearsal sites on day one!!!!.....

One thing always amazed and impressed me about BV is how, down all these years and with so much discretion, he's managed to keep our often too excitable and quarrelsome rabble under control...with so little use of the big stick.
