They could avoid traffic by just taking the skytrain. If they stayed at the River Rock Casino, it's probably only a 20 minute trip to downtown!
Hey BV, remember Vancouver 2006 was the first time Keith did 3 songs! This will look like a totally new venue for the band since the major renovation.

I am hopeful for a great show for one of my oldest friends, who now lives in Vancouver. I would love to follow along at home but it will be a 1:15am start time for me so I look forward to his report, tomorrow. His last time seeing the band was 1989, when we were just pups.

I meant the 9am part based on reports from previous shows but I could very well be wrong. Has anyone been to the stadium yet and have any news on that? What songs? Etc.

For Vancouver it is stated show start at 8:00pm, then the warmup band is on, playing for pprox 40 min, then they prepare the stage in 20 minutes, wait another 20-25 minutes fine tuning guitars and other stuff on stage, then they are on around 9:25pm, give or take 5 minutes. Show lasting two hours exactly lately, and with 20 songs lately, off which three songs are with Keith on lead vocals.

You purchased Lucky Dip tickets for The Rolling Stones show on July 5 at BC Place. Here’s what you need to know:
As part of the general on sale, a limited number of Lucky Dip tickets were sold at a special low price. The ticket locations are throughout the venue, including the Pit. You and your guest will find out your location when you pick up your tickets the night of the show.
We will be using strict anti-scalper measures to ensure that these tickets go to Stones fans and don't end up on the resale market with wildly inflated prices. We appreciate your attention to the following, so that you have the best experience possible.
TICKET PICK-UP INSTRUCTIONS
You and your guest must pick up the tickets in person from Main Box Office - Gate H on the Beatty Street side of the venue.
Box Office pick-up time starts at 6:00 PM.
Your picture ID, confirmation number, and the credit card used to make the purchase are required for pick-up. You will not be permitted to pick up your tickets without these three (3) items.
Once you and your guest have the tickets in hand, you may be escorted directly into the venue. There may not be an opportunity to leave with your tickets before going into the show.
If we suspect any reselling or transfer of these tickets they will be immediately voided, and you will not be entitled to any refund.

Seated floor prices plummet $200 on the floor to $387. I think they released an entirely new back row in the A sections and are unloading them.
