From Englandspoint of view, I'm relatively happy with that, Seem to be a lot of poor teams in this competition though,

I think Argentina - The Netherlands is nice. They're fairly even.

And Denmark ain't in at all. So I'll root for England, Holland or France I guess.

Doesn't matter. Brazil will be the next world champion.

You think? There's a strong possibillity of that of course. Argentina has a good chance too IMO.

Sweden vs Trinidad & Tobago on the same day as the Gothenburg show. Maybe they will show the match on the video screen.

As the Messiah said yesterday: survive the poule and you'll get far, because then you'll play Mexico or Germany in the second round!

BTW: Holland will Argentina twice this tournament!

Better play with German than Brazil or Argentina. POLAND !!!! lalalalala

For sure we'll have best fans on WorldCup

The Netherlands will be the next World Champion. Our coach is Marco van Basten. He's got so much luck that he can get the best Stones-tickets without an RS-com-membership, without Ticketmaster-fees etc. Even for theatres-shows!And The Stones will not play any warhorse when Saint Marco is attending a show. And even the Messias (El Salvador Johan) is supporting Marco. So you can place your bets on the Netherlands.

What about Spain ?? Does anybody think we have any chance to acces to the semifinals ?? Here is Spain we think our group is very easy, but we think we can't pass to quarters, as usual? what do you think?

Exactly:-) But this time you don't have Czechs in the group, so you could in fact make it in the quarterfinal without massive troubles, db44smiling smiley Then, who knows.
Anyway, good luck to all the good teams.

Brazil has the best players, so if the team gets focused in the tournment I think we will win the World Cup again. I think the teams who can beat us are Argentina and Germany, this one because is playing at home. But Brazil won both in this year´s Confederations Cup, so I am very optimistic

Forget abouit the German team. They have a lousy team, they won't make it into the quarterfinals, beleive me. By the way, I AM German.

wahwah, as you might know, I am German too, and after a lousy period with Tante Käthe I have more sympathies for the young Cleansmen...maybe they make it to the semifinal...

Hi folks,
have been away for 2 days...so I am a bit late , but I would like to give my 2 cent comment , as the WC draws does interest most of us ...even the US fan base should look forward as the US have a strong competitive team.
By the way..I think this world cup from June 9 till July 9 will electrify whole europe as it never has been before....and it will be hard for the Stones to keep focus....but they will do....as always.

TooTough Wrote:

so that seems to be clear...germany and Poland are going to last 16

> Group B
> England
> Paraguay
> Trinidad and Tobago
> Sweden

well..normaly England & Sweden....but maybe Paraguay could get through, too.

> Group C
> Argentina
> Côte d'Ivoire
> Serbia and Montenegro
> Netherlands

Oh my god....what a killing group..to close to call.
2 possible champions( dutch & gauchos....the best african team, with Drogba from Chelsea and very strong Serbs( former Jugoslavia) who let Spain behind them during qualifiers.
Hope Holland and Argentina get through....but you never know.
Thank good, germany could avoid this group.

> Group D
> Mexico
> Iran
> Angola
> Portugal

so this should be mexico and Portugal going to last 16

> Group E
> Italy
> Ghana
> United States
> Czech Republic
Wow..another killing group...to close to call.
Italians & Chechs..very strong-
Ghana....african magic.
USA....they became a strong team and are very hard to beat.
>
> Group F
> Brazil
> Croatia
> Australia
> Japan

Brazil...and Croatia....maybe Japan.
>
> Group G
> France
> Switzerland
> Korea Republic
> Togo

well..I doubt about France.....normaly France & Suis..but do not underestimate the Southkoreans and Togo.

> Group H
> Spain
> Ukraine
> Tunisia
> Saudi Arabia

stong group....Spain & Ukraine almost the same level....Tunis one of the strongest African teams....so 2 out of this 3.

when I got it right, the Stones do not play shows during the knock out games.

I try to get tickets for Sweden vs. England in Cologne, by the way.

I will follow Stones in
Barcelona ?....if Too Tough will make it
Paris most probably
Frankfurt for sure
Cologne for sure

so 4 shows so far....instead of the usual 8-10 which I went to in the past.
due to high prices.

Too bad we (Italy) got Czech Republic in the draw...it's such a good team! The match is scheduled on June the 22th, the same day of the Milano concert (the game is scheduled in the afternoon, by the way)!!!

"got to be worked on
don't have no bark nor bite..."
