European stadium tours by other bands dropping very regularly just now - in addition to oasis x17 shows, iron maiden just announced an extensive summer tour (stadiums and arenas) with rumoured U2 and additional Bruce dates allegedly coming soon. At the poppier end, Coldplay doing 8 uk stadium shows, dua lipa doing two each at Wembley and Anfield and apparently both Beyoncé and GaGa also pencilled in for at least London stadium shows for oct announcement. Read on a Springsteen board someone has started a spreadsheet of other band dates to try narrow down likely Bruce ones :-)

Well. BV asked all of us on this forum to not spread info from websites that are obviously fake. So it is fair to ask for a source. Naturally you can say it is a private source which, again, makes it a rumour.

It is NOT appropriate to ask for source of information, unless it is a public source. I have said this many times. I trust everyone posting, there is a big difference between copying crap from internet, and posting inside information, withour exposing the source.

I can understand that an insider cannot disclose a source of information since it would involve the risk of jeopardizing their position in the Stones’ inner circle.

The problem, for me at least, is, more often than not I have no clue which is insider information and which is just a rumor

Thankfully there are official announcements so you're not left wondering at showtime if it's still a rumor or not

I think it is a mistake to say that what is published on the Internet is garbage. Is there spam on Google? Of course! That shouldn't be posted here! Of course not! Most of the rumors on this page months before any Stones tour are based on internet speculation, none of us have inside information, so copying news headlines on Google is also considered rumors, some with more or less credibility , some of those Google post rumors finally. . . They turn out to be true and others don't. Otherwise, what do we do? Do we dedicate ourselves exclusively to speculating 8 or 9 months before the band's tour, about the supposed stadiums where they could perform, talk about AC/DC, or if the Stones are too old to continue giving live concerts? Personally, it has become clear to me that we should not publish Spam (or garbage), and I totally agree, but man!!! You can also find interesting news on Google!!

True...but you can find an awful lot more "click bate" , posted primarily as a link to try and sell you something else

So far nothing is signed, so is a rumour is just a rumour. Like you say you will marry a girl but it never happens, it was only a plan, a roumour.

You have to live with the fact that there will be many rumours. Some are more trusted than orthers. Just like NME.com are more to be trusted than bullshit.com. And so on.

Then rumours will be listed on the IORR pages, then the tour is coming nearer.

They will not announce the tour just because somebody start a thread on IORR about “European Tour 2025 rumors", long time before the US/Canada 2024 Tour finished.

Patience is the word.

By the way, it seems that the logistic expenses to get here have been considered too much by the tour producer, and that Rome is much more feasible in this respect. At least that's what I've been told by my sources.

That sounds pretty promising. Naples is located pretty close from Rome, you can travel by train easily. We usually do 3-4 days trips around the place of Stones show. Keep us posted please!

Until Christmas!
Then the big moment mostly around February: BW turns up with real rumors announcing a RUMORED tour with some first RUMORED dates.
Which all turn out to be true facts in the end.

We are crazy lucky to still be nattering about tours. I remember the buckets of tears shed at The Last Concert Ever at the O2 in 2007. I’ve seen 35 since then (though they did make us wait a long damn time after that). We’ve got the sun and the moon and…well... you know.

You state “none of us have inside information” but the reason so many people look at these rumours threads are because some of the people on IORR DO HAVE inside information. The key is to separate the rumours that come from reliable people from the spam and garbage out there on other sites.

Exactly! Here are people who do have insider information and I'm very thankful for that. I don't get the people who say only BV is reliable.

Those of us who live far away hope this happens again

It is logical that the stones (and other bands in general) organize the tours thinking about the people who live in each city, who must be 90% of those who buy tickets. But there are also 10% of people who travel from other cities, countries, and continents, for whom waiting until february complicates the organization (and makes flight and hotel prices more expensive)

So, we're looking forward to some announcement in November, or even a credible rumor in October
