Something related to the topic - The Grammys are for main stream, cookie cutter music for the masses. Why the hell would anyone want those clowns to even know who the Stones are much less nominate then for something.

well.....whether we like the grammis or not...we have to admit that winning album of the year will only translate into more exposure.


if macca will win, he ll sell more albums....and more power to him.

the stones seem to be doing so so considering the money spent in their marketing.

The Stones are reliable and sustainable product, like Bayer Aspirin. They may not be the Street Fighting Men of '68 - '69, but their catalogue is enormous. And they can laugh all the way to their multi-million dollar homes about ABB not being nominated. They don't care, they're raking in the dosh. They're doing what they want to do and people are paying good money to see them.

How many people can say they really like what they do for work?
