Would love an album of soundchecks over the years

How many in here would rather hear that than upwards of three quarters of the actual set list?

Holy cow, why do they tease us like that?!

Everyone here probably but then they would have to play clubs and they wouldn't bother...

Lovely video. However, is that Ronnie handling 'Keith's part'? Obviously, I'm only going by the fabulous studio version, and those early live renditions from '65, that are available. It sounds like Keith's playing 'Brian'

I don't really care for the Rolling Stones after Charlie's death because they sadly lack the swing. This recording though caused excitement that I hadn't felt in a long time. It is an unexpected pleasant surprise that they can still play.

Steve Jordan plays here in his own style. He doesn't censor himself like he often does when playing with the Stones. I really loved his playing with the Winos because it had auch a unique sound and groove.

I think that they actually did play this song on one of their tours but I forget when, was it '89 or '81?
I'm a great fan of the older stuff so I would welcome this in the setlist.

Yep, for many of we, THAT is the Rolling Stones.
But it's not the material for Stadium tours.
My dream would always have been see them go full circle to a club band in their autumn years...but that could never have happened.
Had their popularity and pulling power not been maintained as robustly as it has, they'd just have broken up. sadly,we can't have it all ways.

Columbus has been very lucky for sound checks:
2002 - Soul Survivor
2015 - Hang on Sloopy
