Nashville 1997 was an early show.

In 2018 the show in Dublin began at 8:30. It was still daylight and felt like afternoon. Thus the light show for Symapthy didn't work. Consequentely the song was moved at a latter slot for the rest of the tour.

Both Philadelphia JFK stadium shows were played in full daylight in September 1981 to kickoff the Tatoo You tour.

1 show in Seattle was in the afternoon in 1981.

The second show in Frankfurt 90 was very early due to "IORR" on U.S. TV or Canada program.

The fourth new york 94 show started very early my friends were still in the toilet.

It seems that shows that start early are better remembered than those that start late.
Except those that start after midnight....

Both me and the gal I was with were sandwiched on the floor near the stage and struggled to work our way out of there. I was at the Rich Stadium show. I think their 1981 show at the venue was a daylight show, too. No light show, no video, just a band trying to connect with 80,000 people who had been drinking all day (and in the sun for part of the day).

A lot of 1981-82 shows started pretty early. Also shows in Japan usually start around 6-7 pm.

According to this ticket stub Slane Castle show in 82 started at 1PM.

And who remembers they did 2 shows on July 25, 1972 at MSG? I hung around outside the arena during the afternoon matinee show (heard nothing) and attended the evening show later that day. I was 18 and it was my first ever Stones concert.

St Petersburg wasn't an early show but the white night made it a daylight show. Same with Helsinki.

Pretty sure Bristol in '82 started before 5pm.

The Chieftains were the first of four acts on the bill, taking the stage at 1 pm or just after

The Stones played from just after 6 pm to about 8.15 pm

Daylight shows were the norm on much of the 1981-82 tour.

I was in San Diego for the 81 tour and it was promoted as the first nighttime show of the tour. The local radio made a big deal out of it. We were thrilled. George Thorogood and J. Geils did their sets in daylight. It was a great show.

They didn’t start until 7:30 p.m., but it was still light outside when they played the Marcus Amphitheatre stage at Milwaukee’s Summerfest on June 23, 2015 on the Zip Code tour.

I don't think it was quite that early but it was much earlier than usual. I remember walking out under the Clifton suspension bridge and getting a lift to South Wales at about 9 o'clock, so I'm guessing it would have taken about half an hour to walk out there, so...show finished about 8.30 - 45?....Start at 6 - 6.30?

Still light at the end of course with sunset being about 9.30pm
