Say what you like about Cher but she's got a great voice, is a very talented actress and had (has?)a killer body. I'm not crazy about the outfit but let's give credit where credit is due.

Who does she think she is strutting and preening all dressed up like a little red rooster?!

Oh...wait...

Actually, that was a pretty damn good performance.

Yeah, plus kinda cool Stones medley, covering nicely their career by then: "It's All Over Now", "Under My Thumb", "Ruby Tuesday", "Jumpin' Jack Flash", plus their their most recent hit, "It's Only Rock''n'Roll" going like a theme through it. Pure show business entertainment, but fun.

You have to remember everyone, this was 1975. This was top notch entertainment at this time.

Yes, you have to take it for what it is. I wouldn't buy tickets to see it, but if I was watching TV and this just came on, I'd be floored!

Shows how tightly the Stones music is soaked in soul and R&B music, just let the horns play the guitar riffs and there you go!

I could sum up my reaction to watching this as WTF. It's one of those things that once you've seen it you can never not see it. I never knew there was a Cher show though I remember the Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour or whatever their show was called. Regarding this, even for its time, very lame and awful.

It's weird hearing someone with a voice sing these songs, doesn't work, Micks grunts and vocal manurisms far outweigh Chers voice, i don't think she gets this music, it's all showbizy with no substance or attitude , although Mick and Tina Live Aid was pure cringe.

It;s terrible -- and this is even worse; Marti Caine singing HTW

For a decent stones cover I'd mention Tom Jones and New Model army doing Gimme Shelter, or Rod Stewart's Street fighting man.

Wow. Cher without Sonny in the Howard Mackie days when she seemed like Elton John's counterpart. Seen now, it seems Lady Gaga patterned herself on this version of Cher when she first hatched on the music scene. Is it Vegas? Sure, right down to her own plink-plink and overdone brass section. It's also damn close to Mick at Live Aid.

Ah...if you could turn back time.

Rolling Stones music arranged completely different. Makes me realize once more that Jagger and Richards were damn good and -virtually- abbaesque catchy songwriters.
