RIP. Lived in my old hometown of Moore, OK.

Liked his stuff-- didnt own any of it, but never turned it off when it came on the radio - enjoyable country-pop

He had some entertaining videos, As Good As I Once Was is pretty funny. Who's Your Daddy is kinda funny too.

I was absolutely gutted to hear this today as I did t even know he was sick and to see the shell of what once was a gargantuan man! Wow. Was a huge fan from the very first single. He was one of my favorite country artists of the 90’s. Followed him up until the album with The Angry American on it. After that I found him too political and just drifted away. But some of those early country albums have some amazing songs on them. Huge huge loss. And so young. RIP

It's amazing how cancer just strikes people down so early.

He was a friend of Jimmy Bufett. They did some things together years ago, including Jimmy's cover of Hey Good Lookin' that featured Clint Black and etc.

”The Taliban Song” is a hilarious and yet bizarre song, sums up the spirit in post 9/11 USA I guess. And what makes it even more remarkable is that’s actually pretty damn good music wise.
