only one reason for expensive tickets --> good old fashioned greed.

There has been a lot of discussion about ticket prices on this forum lately.
Before I get to my point I like to make 2 things perfectly clear:
1. I am a big Stones fan and pay whatever to go there
2. I have big appreciation for bv and all the efforts he puts into this thing
I don't agree with his point that high ticket prices prevents us buying tickets from scalpers for even higher prices.
I have been going to a lot of concerts for over 20 years and the same principle always worked; get out of bed early or spend the night at the ticket agency with some hot coffee and good music.
Always worked for me, also when prices were reasonable and black market prices were very expensive.
THese days I get a 100 dollar membership and spend the night in bed sleeping. My tickets are more expensive that way, but that's my choice.
Point is, if you want tickets you get them. High prices these days is pure greed and should not solely be blamed on Michael Cohl
If the tickets were 25 Euro's cheaper the Stones would still be making an awful lot of money and the fans with small wallets would be able to go as well.
