I stayed there about 6 years ago. Very nice. Close to all. About 10 min walk to stadium. I'm in the queue now trying to get tixs for this show.

Best time to buy tickets

Long story but looking for a single ticket to the Cleveland show. Any idea best time to purchase? Lots on Stubhub etc now. Will they drop or rise in value typically? Would prefer a better ticket

I would say day of show. At the venue even - maybe the box office.

Just avoid Stubhub. Tickpick and Vivid are better, and they are 90% the same tickets. That said, I almost always buy day of show though there is the occasional wild card you don't see coming, like Widespread Panic in Denver. The cheapest shot up from $65-ish to $130 on the secondary, though they are going down again.

I got Lucky Dips for most of the shows I wanted, but otherwise I usually do like Dan and wait for the day of the show. An exception I just did was for the Las Vegas show. Last week, I saw on Ticketmaster, resale tickets for the rear floor GA for $95, when I recall face value was somewhere around $160. That was a low enough price for me to grab them now. On resale tickets, Ticketmaster charges a low fee than on non resale tickets and lower also that places like Stubhub and Vivid. Vegas is almost always a buyer’s market but I was happy to grab these and know I’m set.

There's nothing wrong with Stub Hub! I've bought tickets there and they are honorable. I currently have a ticket for sale there for the Gillette Stadium show, Foxboro Massachusetts on May 30. I have an extra ticket, it's in Sec 112, ROW 1, seat 11...no one in front of you, just the floor and an awesome view of the stage, very close. Check it out!

the time the opening act has taken stage. At that point ticket sellers (outside the venue)are getting nervous

I would def recommend going to the venue that day, walk around where people are enjoying a pre-concert tailgate and you'll find a ticket quickly, and cheaply. I plan on doing just that for Cleveland.

I've gotten good seats for concerts at reasonable prices going the day of the show.

One study found that prices were 33 percent lower than average if you purchase concert tickets on the day of the concert.

In many cases you don't see street scalpers at all anymore so be careful your ticket doesn't go in without you.

Also the bottom isn't always day of but sometimes day before. Most secondary tickets are now algorithmically priced and sometimes it hits the bottom the day before and last minute purchases start pushing it back up.

Hi everyone:

BV - if this is not cool let me know. My brother bought tickets for Cleavland, and he cannot go. He is trying to sell the tickets, I'll put the info below. He is not trying to make any money, just get his investment back. I am helping him because he is pretty computer illiterate, I'm not much better.

(is there a better was to do this rather than putting down my email?)
