I don’t think this is how LD works. You GET the tickets in the day at the venue at Will Call windows. You can’t then split them off and “send” to people in another state

I think Wendy's saying they already have a pair of LDs for Vegas, but need one "spare" Lucky Dip (one more ticket out of somebody else's pair) and they have spare LD's in Cleveland and Orlando they can swap against the Vegas single.

Thank you Topi you are correct. We do already have 1 LD pair for Vegas. But are trying to swap someone their Vegas plus one (if they don't need both) for either Orlando or Cleveland. I do realize that means we all have to make arrangements to meet at the venue and enter together. Thanks fellow Stoners.

Somebody saw the Peppers in that stadium. But when you read it, they had some technical issues. But I would say if you want really good sound, you need to be center and quite close.

Someone else wrote: "i started in the nosebleeds and i could not believe how it sounded during King Princess. scammed my way down to the 100s and it was soooooooo much better/worth the risk"

Hey everyone....thinking of skipping LA and going to Vegas. There are 160 dollar rear GA available....what is rear GA like? I take it it is standing only can you see and hear from there? Or should I get seats in 3 or 400 sections? I've never done a stadium show so thanks for advice.

GA at the rear is standing. I’ve done it a couple times recently and really liked it. Room to dance, move around. Sound is really good. You do wind up watching the big screens, but that’s 50%+ of a stadium audience.

Ok thanks man. Think I might just do GA Rear and have fun.

Went to The Joint show at the old Hard Rock and many shows at MGM Grand Garden venue over the years. May is a great time of the year to go to Vegas as the weather is great for pool action.

See you all there and as we get closer to the event we can arrange a pre-concert meet up.

Why do you say no driving required? I choose the Luxor as it looks an easy walk. Apart from the Mandalay all the other hotels look a long way away. Thanks

Stadium is pretty easy to get to from any of the center strip hotels and south, with the Monorail($6) and/or free hotel trams. The last stop southbound is the MGM, kitty corner from a tram that takes you from the Excalibur to Mandalay Bay, or not too bad a walk if you prefer.

Many thanks for that. I might look at a hotel further up the strip then. We’ve stayed at the Bellagio before and loved it. So perhaps…!?!?!

Stayed there last time. Def walking distance and fun. Staying there for Super Bowl but Mandalay for Stones this time.

I hope everyone realizes that the Super Bowl tomorrow and the halftime show with Usher is merely a warm-up act for the Stones show on May 11!

I'll be watching the game to try to figure out where my seats are and which end zone the lads will have their stage in.

Zero interest in Usher. Hasn’t been a great halftime show since 2006.

We'd be keen for a pre or post show catch up. I reckon Mandalay Bay would be the place to do it due to location, although a local or someone with more LV knowledge may be able to suggest somewhere better. It would be great to find a bar playing stones songs or blues.

We're travelling over to Phoenix from New Zealand for our first show, then road tripping via GC and R66 to Vegas for the second show, then onto Seattle.

Luxor is walking distance. Excalibur, New York New York also easy due to a free tram to Mandalay Bay.

Sounds great, just added both to our itinerary!

My trip to the US in a bit of jeopardy. My wife has taken seriously ill with bloody shingles. 2 days before we were due to have our shingles vax. And it’s got her bad. Cries with the pain. Fingers crossed she recovers so we can get to Vegas and Seattle.
