Since covid, big name artists have done very well. I don't think we should be surprised that the Stones are selling tickets.

Cleveland, for example, first time since 2015, on a Saturday night in June with a new album and the real possibiity that that's the last time they will play there. BTW, Vivid Seats, used it many times and same guarantees as StubHub, has Pit tickets for about $850US fees included.

Completely off topic in terms of USA / Canadian tour but interesting rumour I’ve heard nevertheless.

In Manchester UK there is a new arena opening in April, it’s backed by Manchester City’s owners from the Middle East. It also has a number of significant minority investors such as Harry Styles. There has been a play to try and get the Stones (Same source tipped me off they may be playing Anfield which I posted on here).

Vivid seats pretty much has tickets for cost so why aren't people just buying them instead of going thru tm?

check the final prices on Vivid and Stubhum - fairly hefty service charges get added at the very end! Right before you hit "Buy"!

Seatgeek is the same. They've got MetLife #2 pits for 600 a pop but tack on another 200 in fees.

I gotta wonder who is selling these tickets. Pit regular price tickets were around $650 after fees.

Yes, 550 base price + fees for MetLife.

Is the pit GA or seated section this tour? On Vivid seats it seems like a seated section.

This is the first Cleveland show since 2002, not 2015. They played Columbus in 2005. No Ohio show since then until now.

Vivid has slightly lower fees from SH. They openly admit to getting tickets directly from the artist/venue.

Many of the hard tickets I have purchased on there, prior to covid, have been marked "comp" with no price for Stones shows.

Don’t any of them give you buyers the tickets when you pay for them?

I’m skeptical of pay and waiting 6 months. Obviously others aren’t.

I have used vivid seats but just for sporting events I have never had any trouble.

They don't have the tickets. Some dude bought tix for resale and doesn't have them from Ticketbastard or AXS. Many shows they don't release barcodes until the last few days either. I remember going through that with Hyde Park.

Lots of standard (face value) seats for Seattle including floor seats. Me thinks most venues like this but they just aren't for sale now,

Why are they selling tickets half a year in advance? Makes no sense ( especially at their ages ) to me and they didn’t used to do that.

At their ages it seems like a good chance that the tour won’t even happen.

Putting tickets on sale just half a year away is the norm these days. Look at all the interest accruing for 6 months! Ticket sales are well over 100 million.
Artists like Taylor Swift put tickets on over a year in advance! 3 Vancouver shows are December next year and they went on sale last month.

The interest isn't a huge part of it. More important was to hit the holiday market. Big spending season.

A few weeks ago German superstar Helene Fischer started selling tickets for her stadium tour in 2026!!!!
