The Stones playing live unreleased studio tracks (1969-1971)

Think it was bold and fresh
First, because they really had to win the audience with unknown numbers
Second, for the copyright issue, and bootlegs..

From memory, and I probably will forget some, I'm no archivist..
- Gimme Shelter (1969)
- Midnight Rambler (1969)
- Live With Me (1969)
- Brown Sugar (1969-1970-1971)
- Dead Flowers (1970-1971)
- I Got the Blues (1971)
- Bitch ?
- Can't You Hear Me Knocking (unconfirmed 1971 only performance)

All those tracks were performed live before Let it Bleed and Sticky Fingers releases.

I don't think they did that after 1971

What about the Racket Club gig on October 19 2023 and the Hackney Diamonds songs Bite my head off and Whole wide world?
1 day before release of the album.

Not sure it was "leaked".
It looked official.

You mean US fans did'nt have access to an online content available for non US fans? I don't see that happening.

Many albums like Steel Wheels, Bridges To Babylon and A Bigger Bang were released after the tour started so you'll have many Songs played before release.

Another example is Worried About You that was played in 1977 and released in 1981. With Loving Cup a song was played in 1969 that was released on Exile 3 albums later.

Cherry Oh Baby is not a Stones song... Eric Donaldson.

May say the topic here is to talk about The Stones playing live unrelased songs they wrote... How it was fresh, and different from now... I said from the first I might forget one or two songs...

I remember Out Of Control at Dodger stadium before it was released; crowd loved it even though no one heard it before. Saint of Me not so much.

it'd be pretty "bold" and "fresh" if they played one of those songs they have done for the next album on the upcoming tourwinking smiley

Walk and Don't Look Back. Still unreleased by Stones, though.

Several others come to mind:

Everything from Some Girls played in Lakeland, Atlanta, & DC in 1978 except Miss You & Far Away Eyes, because Some Girls was not released in the UK until 16 June & US on 17 June.

Also, all Bridges to Babylon trax (except Anybody Seen) played live in Toronto and the 1st 3 Chicago Shows (Double Door + 2 Soldiers' Field) in 1997.

Oh, No, Not You Again in 2005 at Julliard.
