OT: RIP Richard Roundtree, Star of Shaft

Just passed due to cancer. He played Shaft in a few movies and worked in other movies and television work. One could say his role as Shaft kicked off not only his career but also gave a big boost to Issac Hayes who composed the theme song for the movie. This led to the era of Blazploitation movies some of which were good but many weren't.

RIP. He died of pancreatic cancer which is not a good way to go. My dad died of that.

Rest in peace, Richard Roundtree. I like the 1971 & 2000 Shaft films, also the 'Theme from Shaft' by Isaac Hayes which sounds very good on SACD.
