Mess it Up is such a great song, in my view only surpassed by Whole Wide World on the new album. Thanks to being intrinsically a great song it comes out well also in the new remix, but with a different remix it could have been even better. But I love it.

It's good, a total Mick song. His best song in 20 years I think. But there's no promotion at all, which is kinda sad.

Maybe it’s made for top 40 mainstream radio. Sorry but it’s not my cup of tea. The album version to me is so much more fun but if it gets younger People into them it’s a win especially in the USA

I prefer the original by length. The remix is not my cup of tea, but I think it is good that it differs so much from the original.

Nothing wrong with the remix, not intended for most of us of course.

I'm a little surprise they dropped the falsetto bit, "you asked the question, and I won't, lieeeeeee", as that was a showstopper and I would have thought a great hook but what do I know about the intended target audience?!

Agree w/ those that don't like the remix ... as expected, and as in 99% of the cases, remixes are pointless! ... Stick to the original, can't 'mess it up' if it is already perfect!

honestly Id be ok if the remix was actually something that would be played in a great club as your peaking or something...but this is bad....bad and cheesy....like who approved this?....and they should be fired cheesy

Well it sounds neutered. They've taken the grit out and left the pure dance pop.

That balance is what made the song great, at least for most (and not even all) Stones fans. Taking out the great guitars and polishing it up the way they did ensured that we as a group won't like it...but they know and accept that and we should probably understand that as well.

But that certainly doesn't guarantee they'll have a "club hit" with this.

The worst remix they've ever released. The original version is very good.

After listening to it with an open mind (or tried to at least) I believe this version might of been the original. The whole thing flows like a perfect Mick pop song. Certainly there are people that like it and I say hats off. Enjoy!

The LP version is so damn good. Mick sings his ass off on it. And I won't lie!

I listened to HD yesterday and played Mess It Up twice in a row. I enjoyed it tremendously both times. In my humble opinion it's a truly great song among many other superb tracks on the album. I feel fortunate to have new music that I like souch from my favorite band.
