No. Not at all. Don’t get fooled by that 6 to 8 bar beat similarity. This is more like a pattern, style or a framework in which to work. But composition-wise and harmonically. It’s quite different actually.

Yep - that's the blueprint. But this song is sensational. Truly the best and most soulful thing they've produced this side of the 70s. I really didn't rate Angry which was floor filler stadium rock. This is much more like it and now I'm starting to believe those reviews in British newspapers like The Guardian and Daily Telegraph that said this was the best thing they've done since the 70s. Bring on Hackney Diamonds.

Basically the same song, a bit slower and with a couple of choruses/"bridges" and obviously a much more elaborate production and a wonderful ending.

Oh what a thrill. Having listened it a couple of times now, and still stomaching it. Not a full grasp yet. But it is fantastic to hear a new Stones tune that doesn't sound obvious at all, but transcends one's expectations. As one keeps on playing it -¨and it asks it - its secrets start to open up little by little. No hurry - I love every second of the process.

Too bad Steve Jordan has to destroy the overall sound - on the first part of the last crescendo...cymbals and drums to the maximum...the speakers can hardly take it...everything on RED!!! But I can live with that - really nice piece of music, this. And I love the second unexpected "chord" in the "gospel-bridge"...that´s really cool and interesting.

Wonder what kind of video will be made to go with this, it would be great if footage from the studio recording of the song becomes the backdrop.
A dream scenario would be if the Stones play it live with Gaga at a few high profile TV shows, plus obviously live on the tour next year in the unlikely event that happens.
