After reading all the posts I came to the conclusion the boys are rescheduling the 2023 dates and adding more. Am I correct.

That would be correct. I think Ronnie also mentioned in an interview they will be playing some cities they had to cancel due to COVID.

The interesting question is, do those July "tour dates" in the "Angry" video make sense after all?

You'll remember July 4 and July 9 were on that one billboard there. There was a third date as well, which looked like July 13.

It would actually line up if you count back from July 17 and leave at least three days off between shows.

Surely it's just a coincidence.

The last looks like a 12 rather than 13. The first looks a bit like the Rose Bowl, which would be my bet if they were to play an LA-area venue on the tour, but, depending on the kerning, "Rose" doesn't seem to fit. The July 9 date also seems to refer to something like an "Atrium" more than a "Stadium." Artificial intelligence at work?

Yeah the "13" could be a "12" as well, you're right.

Modifying a portion of an earlier comment I deleted...

Before details about the Houston and perhaps Phoenix shows were dropped here, I was guessing that the tour would open in Florida (specifically Jacksonville circa April 23 or maybe 24), then move on to Houston or perhaps somewhere else in the Southeast before Jazzfest, with Phoenix the first show following. Now I'm wondering if I had the right cities, and just got the order mixed up, such that Jacksonville will follow the festival, with a second Southeastern to mid-Atlantic location at the weekend.

If I'm right, Jazzfest and the fwo following shows would be half of the six stops added to the tour. Makeups of the canceled Louisville and Buffalo dates would take two more slots, and/but I wouldn't be surprised if they added another Canadian/Great Lakes location in addition to or instead of Buffalo. Something in the greater Washington, D.C. area seems like a reasonably good bet to fill in the last piece of the puzzle if not already included. That would leave Southern California (and Las Vegas) without a show, but they got two (or three) last time, San Diego lacks a desirable venue it would seem, and I wouldn't be surprised if an appearance in that corner of the country were being saved for a later event.

Tks .. and also Topi.

Trying to plan a trip from Perth Australia. So looks like we’re lobbing onto the West coast on about July 1-2 then!! Doing some internal US travel catching another show or two somewhere and getting back to SFO for July 17.

Will see next week hopefully.

Yes, that's actually nothing that hadn't already been rumored here as well so things might just be going around in circles.

Would tickets going on sale within the next few weeks be aligned with an April 24 start date? Still about 5 months out.

On the 7th day God created The Rolling Stones

Not from an "insider" but a hardcore fan who knew someone connected to Red Rocks last time who had info about them planning a show, signing contracts etc. last go around.

Wouldn't be a proper US tour if Red Rocks didn't get rumored as a potential... so there it is drinking smiley

In 2018, they announced the 2019 tour in mid-November (November 19) and sold tickets right after US Thanksgiving (November 30) for a projected late April start. [www.rollingstone.com]

They are after our holiday monies again.

Better to announce and sell the tix now rather than in January from that point of view.

I've heard otherwise. Not Red Rocks either. About 1000 feet (300 metres) lower. Not sure it's true, but I believe it.

Sounds like a 2019 No Filter city type list is in the works. However, since Miami had the HR stadium show (2019) and HR Casino (2021), does Florida get Jacksonville and Orlando, instead of Miami for a third shot? Either way, exciting news on the horizon!

Also the south looks kinda empty outside of Nola. Still looking for the Stones to return to Alabama and play my dream venue, Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa. We know Coach Saban approves. Add in a little Muscle Shoals setlist too!

They announced 2,5 months before tourstart and began selling almost right away. So if they start in April they might announce Mid January. But they would miss the xmas shopping - so maybe it is true that they will announce soon(ish).

Tour started June 1st 2022
Announced their Tour Monday March 14, 2022.
General on sale started Friday 18th March.

April 24 minus 2,5 months = beginning of February

The question is: What is more expensive? Missing out on xmas sales or the insurance fees for scheduling a tour five months in advance.

insurance, of course.
x-mas sales or not – most shows will sell out anyway. So even if the insurance costs were just one dollar announcing 2,5 month before the kick-off of the tour is the better deal

Don't forget interest rates.

200m is easily 1 - 1,5m a month if invested properly.

I can imagine insurance would be depending on the moment. The further away from the events, the less expenses are made, so there is little money to be insured anyway right?

From Shidoobee FB:

"Keep an eye out for billboards today in major cities concerning the upcoming tour. Post here with photos and location."
