I know it may seem early, but this person seems to be in the know, and suggests the Stones will kick off a tour on July 4th next year.

He probably bases it on the Angry music video Billboard?

Well, Ronnie did say they have "America penciled in, hoping it's going to happen"...

There have been some rumors of USA 2024 for a while now, but nothing concrete. Vegas and NYC were being thrown around.

Given that it's MarieFranceRemillard, that wouldn't surprise me at all. They just tweet what they read on IORR, really.

We all hope for European tour in 2024.
America had them in 2019 and 2021, Europe was 2018 and 2022, it's unfair if they tour again in US.
However we are aware that the business is the business...

They have started tours behind new albums in North America ever since Some Girls.

And based on what you just said, it would be North America's turn. winking smiley

No, it won't be North America.
It shouldn't be North America again.
No matter what you think and based on what your wishes are.
They SHOULD tour in Europe in 2024.
But, as I said, the business will be always the business.

Oh, being European just like you, my wish certainly is they would tour Europe next year!

But the rumors are pointing to North America. Also, you probably heard what Ronnie said yesterday in the interview. He mentioned America, not Europe or anywhere else.

I don't think they will be able to tour in 2024, Mick has something wrong with his leg and Ronnie has also health problems

Anyone could post something like that. Seems like another wishful thinking from a fanboy.

yep. It's just a joke in the "Angry" video about the sold out dates of a Hackney Diamond Tour.

They were in Europe last year so I think it’s US next year as Ronnie said, we missed out this year in US. Will see …

Taken from Ronnies chat with Noise 1

Ronnie said there won’t be any live shows until 2024. “Next year we have America pencilled in. We are hoping that is going to happen,” he said.

Ronnie Wood also says four of the songs have already been shortlisted for the live shows. “I think some of the songs on the album lend themselves to be played live. Mick and I have made a list of what would sound great live. Songs like ‘Angry’, ‘Whole Wide World’ and “Depending On You’ and ‘Dreamy Skies’. We are going to try and bring them out first”.

me - I guess Keef will do Tell Me Straight , so that makes 5!!

If there's no tour in 2024, there won't be any left.
Afterwards, I don't know, but it's true that Ronnie seemed effete, in the background, while Keith and Mick seemed much more in good form.

If we do get to see them next year, fantastic. But it always amazes me that acts at such an age (including Springsteen) plan tours so far in advance. Time is of the essence!

I dont really see your logic.

The 2018 European tour was the second tour in a row that took place in Europe as they played here in Sep/Oct 2017 - they just couldnt fit the UK in to the 2017 leg, so they did so in 2018 and added some extra continental dates.

They toured the US in 2019 and 2021 and Europe in 2022.

They were supposed to play the US in 2023. Therefore, its their turn

Leaving aside, of course, the equally perfectly valid argument that there are more than two continents on the planet and they havent played any of those markets since 2016 (and in the case of Asia and Australia, since 2014).

venue availability has become more difficult post-Covid. Aside from the obvious problems of getting stadiums at times when theyre not being used for sports, touring acts are still playing catch up for theatres and arenas after no one was able to tour for a couple of years.

I went to see The Cure last December. Tickets bought a year in advance. Thats not unusual in itself but it made sense when I read an interview with Robert Smith where he explained how planning a tour itinerary was such a headache as it seemed every time they went to book an arena there were 4-5 other acts wanting to use it on the same night

Could the Stones do a sort of reverse Eras-type tour, starting with HD and working back to the 60's, 3 songs per decade, and 1 Encore?? That would be 19 songs, if one lumps in HD with the most recent decade........Mix up the song choices so it's not the same 18 every night and dust off some rarely played gems - One Hit, Hand of Fate, Too Tight, Hang Fire, Thru & Thru

I'm excited for them to hit the road again. I want to see the new songs in action and hopefully a couple never-before-played deep-cuts.

I thought they would so something like that at the SIXTY tour, like a celebration of their work

It definitely seems like if there was a time to do it, the SIXTY tour was it. I can't see them doing that with a new album tour, but would be delighted to be wrong.

No, they played Europe in 17,18, and 22. North America in 19,21. They will start in North America. Europe will get Springsteen.

If they tour, where they tour, when they tour it will happen. Until then can we please stop arguing which place deserves shows more. If it happens, I plan on going regardless of where they play.

What is all this "perfect pie-graph of fair touring"? Does every band work this way? Try not to take their touring agenda to personally, folks. Hopefully they have enough gas in the tank to hit N/A, Europe, S/A, Australia, Japan, etc. I think our friends in Australia and Japan are long overdue

There are also rumors that Paul Mcartney will be touring Europe from May to June,European football stadiums will be very busy, for a hypothetical tour of the Stones in Europe.
