Sirius/XM is running a special called Tommy James artist confidential on 60's Gold channel 73. It features Tommy playing acoustic and different versions of some of his songs. He also discusses his life in depth with Lou Simon.

Just thought some here might enjoy this show.

The 80s were good to Tommy with 3 covers of his songs hitting the charts Joan Jett doing Crimson and Clover, Billy Idol doing Mony Mony and Tiffany doing I Think We're Alone Now. Must have gotten some decent royalty cheques!

Tommy still puts on a good show. Great song, voice still good, same key, etc.

The middle section of "Hanky Panky", "Tighter, Tighter", and "Crimson and Clover" is exceptional.

He always says, "We used to take acid, now we take antacid."

He put out a well received bio a few years back- apparently Morris Levy and his Mafia cohorts in the Genovese crime family stole all the money from Tommy's commercial prime.

My wife and I saw him a few years ago at the Ventura County Fair for free included with the price of admission to the fair itself.
He put on a great show playing so all of his hits, even coming out to the crowd mid-song to mingle.
One of the greatest free shows I've ever seen - Tommy is a LEGEND!
