Musical Genres of the Rollling Stones: Rock, Pop, Blues
Posted by: dead.flowers ()

In a particular context, I would like to ask:

Is there any serious literature known that outlines

the musical genres of the Rolling Stones specifically

as

Rock, Pop, Blues?

Any hint will be appreciated.

Thanks for your shared expertise and regards,

Thanks so much 1962.

Maybe I expressed myself misunderstandably.

What I am actually looking for is a confirmation by means of serious literature that approves my point that the Stones' genres can be broken down to:

Rock, Pop, Blues.

Background: I am trying to adjust the German Wikipedia article in that sense.

“Harmonieanayse der Rockmusik: Von Folk und Blues zu Rock und New Wave” by Volkmar Kramarz has chapters on the blues and the early - mid 1960s “Beat-Music” scene.

I think it’s more rock, paper, scissors.
