Raymond Douglas Davies, really must be considered one of the greatest lyricist and songwriters of his generation and the 20th Century. Awesome accomplishment. I can’t imagine my 70 years of life without The Rolling Stones and The Kinks being a big part of that soundtrack.

I have a CD I play in my car. "The Collection", I think. Lots of cuts from 1977-1984. And I just love Celluloid Heroes from One For The Road. Maybe my all time favourite live-album.
