Bill was invited to play on the new album, so it's safe to say that he's probably been invited to attend Micks big 80th bash. Hope Mick Taylor will be there also.
Paul McCartney has more than likely been invited also, along with Elton John, Pete Townshend, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, and other elderly rockers.
And no doubt some much younger/contemporary artists will be invited. Maybe the likes of Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, and Taylor Swift...

... maybe Jimmy Page...

Oh yes of course, I forgot all about JIMMY PAGE!

There's also Sir Rod Stewart, RINGO, maybe even Ray and Dave Davies...numerous possibilities...
As the source told Simon Boyle of the Sun: "it will be like a who’s who of the music and entertainment world"...

This is kinda fun playing this guessing game of who is or isn't gonna be invited, so I I'll play along too....I don't know about his health is doing these days, but how's about Mr. Jack Nicholson?

Rockman: you are supposed to be Australian.
Could you please tell me what kind of fake accent you always use? It gets boring after a while.
No offense!
Ruediger

And so, Rockman reflected upon his internet friend's sage advice. A great silence came over him and he resolved to never joke again lest someone he doesn't know tells him off with no intent to offend.

Isn't Ruediger a lawyer who usually gets paid for his advice? Apparently his business is running low so he is exploring other lucrative fields. However, someone needs to tell him that giving unwanted advice is probably not a good choice in business terms. And it doesn't make him new friends either!

Dear Ruediger,

welcome to IORR.
Offending people is something we try to avoid here (even sometimes we fail)
Offending Rockman because of his style to post here is a strange thing.
Because you talk about an accent you may be don't know.
(Australia is big, with 100.000 of accents in 100.000 of towns and places.
To call it fake is the baddest of all ideas.
But here is some help: The way he writes here is yes an accent but first of all a kind of art!
Language-art. Rockman-Art.
We like it here.
A lot.
So much that he is the only one out of millions of members here getting
a separate birthday-thread year by year.
So join us on July 14, 2024.
You are heavenly invited.

The problem is that humour doesn't always translate well on the written page and we don't get a handle on each other other quite so quickly .

I'd have been banned years ago with my dodgy sense of humour if I didn't think first and type second grinning smiley

Rockman, you could have put it this way:

Allow me to assert that no interrogation or puzzlement has arisen within my mental faculties, for the matter was devoid of intricacies that warranted probing. My emotional state was unequivocally one of mirth and jollity, wherein I embraced the occasion with gleeful delight, eschewing the contemplation of any intellectual pursuit. In the capacity of a discerning and prudent individual, I have refrained from seeking any elucidation, as the circumstance before me is devoid of complexity or ambiguity. Instead, my comportment has been directed towards the expression of laughter, an involuntary response that reflects my lightheartedness and merriment. I trust that this elucidation has been satisfactory in illuminating the essence of the aforementioned situation.

A small question one day before his birthday:
Is it possible to have a nicer photo of Mick on the start-side of IORR than the recent one? As usual in the last years: may be from the last gig of the last tour which would be Berlin August 3.
No criticism, just a thought.
