Did anyone ever book a gig/trip via londoncallingmusic.com (might have been uk)? If so what where there experiences.

I took an ex to see Madonna in Paris in 2004, hotel was good, gig was entertaining!

1993 Velvet Underground reunion in Paris by coach from London.

Imagine a coach full of hardcore Velvet Underground fans and that is exactly what you got. We stayed in a really nice chateau outside Paris.

The band filmed the tour video at these gigs which were 75% excellent (Lou's singing being the missing 25%).

All real good experiences. Hotels were good. Coach broke down in France for one of the Paris gigs and we spent several hours on the side of the road awaiting a replacement (passed the time with my mate reciting Monty Python gags).

That site doesn’t even exist, is it for real?

They were just known as London Calling Music. Pre internet days. I think they may still be around but not too sure. I assume once the internet was up and running people stopped using them and made their own ticket and travel arrangements.
