Can still vividly recall her performance of I've been Loving you too long in Gimme Shelter - one of the movies standouts in a movie full of highlights. Has to be one of the best show-women in rock and roll, and she taught Mick Jagger some of his moves.
RIP Tina.

Sad news. I'm happy she had some good years at least, considering her hard life early on. R.I.P.

Oh man, I've been going through Stones-related Tina stuff on YouTube, and there is a great deal of that. As we know, she is so much related to our band, she's a sister-like. I don't know how to share those by mobile, but just check the songs she did with Mick in his solo tours back in the 80's. "Brown Sugar" and "It's Only Rock'n'Roll". Damn, has there ever been more star power, charisma and energy as those two dueting together? The audience is in exstacy, and no wonder.

Tina was a true legend and by all accounts such a strong and amazing woman.
Saw her a couple of times in the 80s and more recently oa a tour where she had Lisa as one of her backing singers. She had some tough times, including the loss of a son by suicide. Queen of rock ‘n’ roll. There’ll be no one else like her. RIP dear Tina.

By Mick Jagger: "I’m so saddened by the passing of my wonderful friend Tina Turner. She was truly an enormously talented performer and singer. She was inspiring, warm, funny and generous. She helped me so much when I was young and I will never forget her."

By Keith Richards: "I am so saddened to hear of Tina’s passing. There is so much I would like to say about her but feel I am at a loss for words. She was the most wonderful and warm person with whom I’ve been friends since the early 60’s. She was one dynamic performer I ever have known. She had a great voice and a beautiful feel for a song. I will miss her forever! My deepest condolences to her family. Rest in Peace, Tina!"

By Bill Wyman: "Tina Turner was a ‘Force of Nature’ onstage. I knew her for three decades. Whenever we met, she was always friendly and humourous, and she would refer to me as ‘Mr Cool’. She will be sorely missed."

RIP Tina. What a lady, what a life, what a legacy! So grateful for her music. I saw her on one of her last tours (Lisa was singing with her) and she owned every inch of that stage and every person watching. Incredible. Glad she taught Mick how to move. So saddened by her recent health issues. Condolences to her loved ones.

RIP Tina.
Those live albums with Ike are just magic, despite being a man I always wanted to emulate the rawness she had in her vocals and sang along with her for years as practice.

I’ll never forget her performance with the Ike & Tina Revue opening for the Stones at the Forum in 1969. Just incredibly powerful. I often listen to River Deep, Mountain High. A perfect combination of Tina’s raw power and Phil Spector’s wall of sound. The most underrated song ever.

RIP Tina Turner

Had a chance to see her live once, with Ike.
What a talent, taught Mick some moves too.
RIP, Tina.
