Does anyone know how Keith sets up his amps on this tour? I think I remember someone somewhere saying that he routes his signal two ways: One signal goes straight into a clean Fender amp, the other goes into a 'dirty' fender amp. The two signals can then be mixed together to produce a dirty sound, but still with that fender clean twangy bite to it. The problem is that if the sound man (or woman) mixes the clean one too high then we get a clean sound as it kind of dominates the mix. (Clean trebly sounds will always appear more prominant than smooth dirty sounds to the human ear).
I don't know if this is correct - can anyone expand or put this right?
