Rolling Stones i Göteborg blir Ullevis genom tiderna dyraste konsert.
Gruppen har chockhöjt biljettpriserna sedan Lix-turnén 2003.

Biljetterna till Rolling Stones på Ullevi den 10 juni 2006 kostar 1 140 kronor, 940 kronor, 790 kronor eller 540 kronor på sittplats och 940 kronor på ståplats.
På samtliga biljetter tillkommer dessutom en serviceavgift.
- Biljettpriserna är i dyraste laget, säger Vilhelm Örtendahl, ordförande i fan-cluben Nordic Stones Vikings. Hela turnén har varit kritiserad för väldigt höga biljettpriser.
Jan "Brandis" Tingvall är en legendarisk svensk kännare av Rolling Stones, som sett dem uppträda 37 gånger. Han har följt dem inifrån och skrivit böcker om gruppen.
- Priset är höjt ett par hundra sedan Lix-turnén 2003, säger Jan "Brandis" Tingvall.
- Och många fans tycker att de priserna var smärtgränsen.
Bojkott diskuteras
På de många fans-sajterna i Europa diskuteras de höga biljettpriserna.
Flera hotar med bojkott.

No, they claim that the various fanpages on the internet are discussing a boycott..
Also they say that the Nordic Stones Vikings is a fan club, wich we aint. We´re just a group of friends who love the Stones.
What I said was that I thought the ticketprices are a bit on the expensive side, but that would not stop us fans from going. Only the first half of that sentence made it..
My fellow Viking Ove is named Jan, wich is very strange, since he used to work for that newspaper for over 30 years...They also said he has written several books about the Stones, in reality he co-wrote one...
The LICKS-tour is refered to as the "LIX"-tour, etc etc.
Well, it was fun being in the paper, even though nothing came out right.

As for myself I can cope with the prices. But I think it´s too bad that not very many young people will go to the concert with these prices. Many people likes to go to concerts just because it´s a cool event. Robbie Williams has sold out 2 concerts (~110.000 people) next summer on Ullevi. Most of them are probably not die hard fans. The athmosphere at the Iron Maiden concert this summer was spectacular thanks to the young fans.

Let´s bring our recorders there, to spread the word.

"Spread the word", I agree on you there. To change topic slightly, I have never understod the thing with this official fan club and the RS website. Most bands would take the opportunity to showcase what the band has to offer. What the band is about, the rock'n'roll attitude etc...

The Stones? Yes but first you must pay membership an get a silly baseball cap... Hahaha... Why not go all the way and offer the fans motley fools hats? I don´t know...
