Would anyone in possession of "As Tears Go By" be so kind as to share the file? The second show at SBC in San Francisco was an especially fine rendition.
Thanks.

Speaking of the 2nd SF show, has it turned up anywhere yet?

aside from the two Bowl shows and Petco, the entire west coast swing is conspicuously absent from general circulation. a conspiracy, I say!

Yes, it's weird, after the flood of shows from the first leg now - nada!
There's a superb audience recording of Fresno in existance according to RocksOff and to a "Rain Fall Down" mp3 I've got. Also got the whole Fresno show as barely listenable mp3, but it's not worth the effort.
I wonder when more shows show up...

Superb audience recording? Got this "Rain Fall Down" mp3 sample too and it is quite good, in fact a bit better than the usual audience tapes from this tour, but not excellent, not to speak of "superb". You are exaggerating!

Maybe I am exaggerating or just got some serious ear damage after listening to the recently released audience tapes. In my opinion it's way better than the most of them all at least.

The reason for your serious ear damage is most probably Ronnie's regular out-of-key playing recently. No recording quality, no matter how bad it is, can hurt an ear like out-of-key playing. But then, again, the sound quality of those recent audience tapes remind me of vintage 60´s recordings (the bad ones of course, not the good ones). Unbelievable, it is 2005 and with all this improved technology tapers managae to get such a shitty sound!

Stones fans: A+ for bitching, D- for mastering modern recording technology.

Thank you...dlyon. And thanks for the MR tease at the end. I do love hearing the guitar strumming at the beginning before everyone in the audience knows the song. Then Mick sings the opening line and the full-on audience roar can be heard. Excellent.

Should be thanks to Baboon Bro. Sorry.
