Only 75 Euro?

On the EU-dates press release it states that the average price for the European shows is 75 Euro. I must say that it was cheaper than I thought.

If its true, its indeed very reasonable. I saw the price range for Amsterdam and they looked quite decently priced

However, Cohl said at Juilliard that something like 95% of the tickets for the US shows were in the $100-110 (forget the exact figures but it was something like that) which proved to be completely false, so I'll wait and see!

Wembley looks very high. maybe the Stones have forgotten we're still using the pound instead of the Euro. The rest of the Uk stadium shows better not be that price or they'll struggle.

Problem is that this Amex thing is going to lead to many of the tickets being snapped up by scalpers before we get a sniff of them. That part of it doesnt seem to have been well planned. It'll be interesting to see whats left by the time the official public sale starts

Good joke, in Germany the cheapest ticket is 86 EUR (up to 207 EUR) - UK tickets from ~60 EUR (up to 220 EUR). How much will tickets be in the other countries? 40 EUR?

Check this (From the press release that got out this morning):

----------
The most exciting and powerful rock 'n' roll show in the world is coming to the stadiums of Europe next year. Kicking off on Saturday May 27, 2006 at Barcelona's Olympic Stadium, The Rolling Stones - A Bigger Bang European Tour - will play over twenty countries at the most famous stadiums and venues in the world. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood & Charlie Watts announced today that there will be over 30 European concerts in 2006. They confirmed dates in Holland, Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, UK, Poland, Austria and The Czech Republic. Tickets for all these markets will go on sale to the public from December 3rd 2005. (dates, cities & venues).

Additional concerts in Russia, Greece, Croatia, Serbia & Montenegro, Portugal, Denmark, Switzerland and Ireland are also confirmed with venue and/or on-sale information to follow. In keeping with the band's philosophy of making their shows accessible to all fans, tickets for the stadiums will be available in a broad range of price categories. The average price of tickets across Europe is 75 euros.
----------

See that last part. It's a reasonable price indeed. If it holds up of course.

Sorry guys but that's average. Field tickets (the best) are up to 124 euro's. Compare with last tour it's 50 euro's up!!! In 2 years a raise of 50%. It's hard to be a fan these days.

Now our European friends can see why we Americans were complaining about tickets prices.

I just saw the prices for San Siro and guess what? The actually are cheaper than Lix!!!

FOS will be 70 euros + presale.

Stones like Robin Hood: they take from the rich (US) and give to the poor (Ita)?

Yes, parto A is FOS

No map available, but I believe it's going to work like last time

see

the stage will be in the orange section, on the long side of the field.

FOS section went from the main stage to the b stage

" no..its not...but 70 Euro isnt bad!!"

indeed, but the main part of europe don't have ticks in that range, maybe poland, italy, st. petersburg, but the main markets not! SO basicly it's crap to say that most ticks are €70-80 eurossmiling smiley

I wouldn't be so sure. Last time Milano tix were among the most expensive (fo course not counting England!!!).

For sure tickets in germany, holland and france will be in that range.

Spain and poland will cost less.

I misunderstood you, then. I specifically thought you meant Milan

how much are the tickets on the pitch in Amsterdam?
