Some great combinations by Morocco, but they lack a player with a final punch . Hats off anyway and congrats to France. Let's see if they can become world champion twice in a row, just like Brazil did some 60 years ago.

I was rooting for Morocco, but we’ve got a more exciting final with France v Argentina. If Messi wins a World Cup he’s beaten Ronaldo for any goat tag in my eyes.

Do people really care about third place? We used to, in the states, but fan interest dwindled. I'm a little bummed that it's two powerhouses going at it. I almost always root for the underdog. They rarely win, but it's magic when they do.

I don't think an underdog has ever really won the World Cup.

I mean, Greece won the Euro that one year but has there ever been a real surprise winner in the World Cup?

Really hope Argentina win this. Can't stand the french team.
