The greatest thing about the Stones rhythm section was how unaffected by fame and rock stardom they were.
Bill and Charlie didn’t give a damn, it’s almost poetic how the down to earth guys held down that sold beat.
I love when Bill calls out Mick and Keith on their bullshit too.
I read an article recently where Bill didn’t take too kindly to Jagger saying “ it can’t be that hard playing bass in the Stones”

Mick played bass on a few songs on Bigger Bang,if you want a laugh have a listen.
