I seem to be author of a few recent R.I.P. threads, sadly.

I’d forgotten his small role as the hotelier in National Lampoons European Vacation. That film was a definite childhood favourite!

Being born in ‘83, I just about missed out on the Harry Potter craze. I remember the release of the first film and monstrous popularity of the books. I suppose I just felt a little old for them. I have considered giving the world a go, though. Rowling evidently created a renaissance in children’s literature, which can only be appreciated.
