Hi,I've always wondered just what royalty the stones get for each record sale.For example ABB.Jagger/Richards wrote all the songs so do they get a little extra than Ron and Charlie who played on the album?If the reatail price of a Cd is $xxxxx in your country,what is the percentage breakdown?

Also with the older albums like IORR for example what would Bill get?...and who receives the Braian Jones royalty?...

I think in general the songwriters get alot more in royalties than others that just perform on the record.

This is a recent topic in the news in Vancouver because the lead singer of Nickelback is suing the band's former drummer because of album royalties. He was replaced early last year and is collecting royalties. The lead singer, Chad Kroeger, says that since he wrote all of the songs, the former drummer isn't entitled to any. Not a fan of the band BTW.
