Rest in peace, Jerry Allison.

Someone should post that clip of Keith performing with The Crickets. Is it still on YouTube?

One of the last Legends of 50's Rock 'n Roll.

Off the top of my head only Jerry Lee Lewis is still around, but there may be a few more hopefully.

My step-dad grew up in San Angelo and was friends with Jerry Naylor.

I get to hear cool stories about Texan musicians.

When I was 8 I found “Buddy Holly Lives” in my parents collection. I loved that record. Jerry’s drumming on tracks like Peggy Sue was utterly unique. Those tom rolls were killer.

RIP.

Sad news.

Wrote of course the great line in Not Fade Away “My love’s bigger than a Cadillac, I try to show it and you drive me back”.
