Why the Stones dont play black and blue songs?, i cant understand, they just play Hand Of Fate but not to much, there is great songs on there, Hey Negrita, Cherry Oh Beby, FOOL TO CRY (i would cry if they play this one), Memory Motel (again, why not?, it was great on B2B tour), what do you think?

There are over 30 albums. They cn't play thewm all always. B&B is one of the albums that has been played in it's entirety.

I think it's one of their lamest albums. They're right to leave it alone. I mean, let's be honest - not everything they've done is a five star freakin' album - and this is one of them.

I've been having a big thing for "Hey Negrita" lately. So raw and dirty, that one...

Melody from Sheperds Bush Empire 99 is very cool. I always liked that one.

They played Fool to Cry during the voodoo lounge tour, in rotterdam `95. It was played good, but most of the people doesn`t regonize the song.

Well, the rwason why they don't play the B&B stuff is, that it was an commercial flop! It was their poorest selling studio album.
So that might be the reason....

Why ask for something interesting from these warhorse idiots?

Here's a small compilation of johang's input on various shows.
After reading this I guess it's pretty obvious that the Stones are not the only ones who should be blamed for lacking the proper creativity.
Best wishes.

The sad fact is the set list is boring and short and you know they could try
harder.

freaking joke they suck big time.
I can go on, but the fact is Stones live for the last many years is no good. They have a dozen + songs they could have replaced Miss You and Tumbling Dice etc with, but no all @#$%& boring.

What chart position did "Fool 2 Cry" reach? I'm surprised it hasn't been more of a standard. I was glad it made the cut for 40 Licks. The live versions from '76 are outstanding. It's definitely a ballad but there is plenty of space for keith's guitar.

"Hey Negrita" is carried by ron's guitar. Not sure he could do it anymore, sad to say.

Love this album... not all 8 songs are classic, but a great adventurous attitude. And one of the best _sounding_ stones albums. The drum mix is very hot.

Ronnie played Hey Negrita at his solo shows in 2001.

Salar, I'm with you; except for Hot Stuff, which may go down as the worst Stones' song ever, it's a good album. Hand of Fate, Crazy Mama are my faves off of it, but the others are good, too!

Hot Stuff (Can't Get a Nut) - the rearranged and edited version of the same take, on Suckin' in the Seventies, sounds better than the Black & Blue version

Black & Blue would've sounded better with 'Slave', but then Tattoo You would've really suffered without 'Slave'.
