No idea whether the official photographers have to leave after a set number of songs, but it must be nice for the band to be able to relax and get on with things without worrying about setting themselves up for the standard Stones-on-stage shots like this one:

Officially sanctioned pictures nearly always look something like this, and you won't convince me that Mick & co don't to some extent "pose" for them.

If I remember right, it’s two first songs that are allowed for the pro photograhers at a Stones concert. And the rules are strict, you do not take photos after that if you want to photograph again in a Livenation concert.

Yes. They are escorted in, and they are escorted out. They had to wear masks, separate bubble from the band, at all times. If they hang around trying to make more pictures as they walk out, they are "kicked out". There are rules. We don't want 20-30 photographers around through the show, with big leses. I am happy about the rules. The rest of the show is taken care of by the fans, photo wise.

We are all on the rail.. much narrower stage and shorter catwalk meant way less rail space - we lined up very early, had a very hot and sweaty day waiting often in direct blistering sun and show was very very hot.. WORTH IT
