Hey folks what tour would you say had the best tshirt designs. For me it’s a toss up between Voodoo Lounge & Steel Wheels.

I’d say Voodoo, but Babylon was nice too. I lost my shirt from that tour and I still miss it. Not that it would still fit …

No Security is still my favorite shirt. So much so I bought two of them so I wouldn't wear out one and have none.

I liked the red and blue Steel Wheels tongue, and the voodoo dancer. I also always wanted a shirt of the skeletons playing cards.

Please, it’s not even close. The 1975 tour shirt with the eagle/jet plane drawn by Charlie Watts himself.
And that silly overused tongue nowhere in sight.

Steel Wheels/ Urban Jungle and Bridges to Babylon in my opinion.

Wasn't the jet-eagle designed by Christian Piper - [Collections.MuseumCA.org] , [www.RollingStone.com] , [www.NYTimes.com] , [iorr.org] ?

It’s sort of a John Pasche situation.Mick took the idea from a comic book and him and Charlie worked on it with Charlie doing the original sketches.
Christian Piper did the final artwork from their ideas.

My top three.. Eagle/Jet.. VooDoo, and the liquid tongues from Bigger Bang.

At least as far as I know, the liquid tongue event tees were the last you could only buy at the event at the various venues.
After that everything was available online.. My favorites from the tour were the MSG-NYC (which listed all MSG concerts on the back) and Vegas.. still wear them both occasionally.

I do fancy that jet eagle one.

I liked the 81 tour shirts, with dragon on the Arena & the logo with the American flag on the tongue.

Steel Wheels worth the tongues in different colors, same on Mick wore on stage

Bridges with the gold hammered tongue

40 Licks Tour with the Multi-colored tongues

Some of the City specific Bigger Bang T’s are sweet, in particular the Austin show.

Also like alot of the city specific T’s from No Filter

Wish they had a Cyberdelic tongue men’s shirt from the current tour.

Steel Wheels in L.A. with the Stones on the front, and Guns and Roses on the back.

No Security. Never saw it anywhere. Picked it up as a Flea Market. Might be a boot, but I like having something from that special tour.

There were a few different cool shirts for No Security. I remember it being hard to get just one. Ultimately I got the brown one with the golden tongue and lips lick on the front and the world on the back.

Well thank you Irix, you sort of made my day here. I remembered that from the better part of 50 years ago and it was pretty close.
I didn’t remember the artists name though, I stole that from your post.
That settles it kids, it causes no damage whatsoever to drink, smoke and do drugs.
Just kidding, none of us who grew up in the 70s did that.it was all about eating healthy and getting your sleep.

This is a difficult one to answer but Steel Wheels and Voodoo Lounge are definitely up there. That being said I really like the 76 tour t-shirts with the faux suede tongue and text. I have two identical ones from Earl’s Court, not that I was there (I was minus 1 at the time lol).
