I always considered him to be a lightweight among heavies, but a rare (at the time) solo concert I saw him do in 1980 at The Palladium in New York remains one of the most enjoyable shows I've ever been to. He played an intimate club gig near me earlier this year, but it sold out before I even knew it had been scheduled.

Great singwriter; as well as the CSN & Y material, I'm a huge fan of his time with the Hollies. Particularly '66-'68, wonderful stuff from 'For Certain Because', 'Evolution' & 'Butterfly'.
