I saw that show and TV once and Ronnie played horrible IMHO.
It's that show where he plays an epiphone, right?

I saw him do Stay With Me with Rod on a TV broadcast of some sort of fashion awards show or something about a year ago, and they both sounded great.

I've got the DVD. Excellent concert but I didn't think Ronnie played very well. Listening to the DVD in regular stereo and 5.1, his guitar playing is sloppy and sounds a bit distorted. Perhaps it's the guitar he's playing or even playing in a lower key from the original songs? He does look like he's having a good time on stage though, and Rod thoroughly enjoys having him on stage. He plays on Stay With Me and then comes back later for Maggie May/Gasoline Alley.
The one person who really impressed me was Rod's violinist/mandolin player. She's very attractive and really stood out during Maggie May/Gasoline Alley. An excellent musician.

To anyone that's seen this DVD, during What a Wonderful World, he goes to the side of the stage and sits down next to a lady who's wearing a pass around her neck. All of the people around her are screaming yet she doesn't seem star struck at all. Does anyone know who she is? I was thinking that it was perhaps his sister?

Whose sister? Ronnie hasn't got one. Could it have been Jo?

You might have to scrape me off the floor at the end of the tour, but it'll be really good scrapings. - Mick Jagger

Rod goes to the side of the stage and sits down. It's obvious that it was pre arranged since it was the only empty seat there, and again, the lady is wearing a pass as well as the man on the other side of the empty seat so Rod must know who they were.

I was also thinking that Ronnie probably makes as much in royalties from those early days with Rod as he does with the Stones. He co wrote songs like Gasoline Alley, Every Picture Tells a Story and Stay With Me. Any thoughts?
