I’m going to visit Paris next week and I’m looking for some good recordstores over there.

Any tips?

Thank you

Once upon a time, there was Monster Melodies (9 rue des déchargeurs 75001 Paris), which had quite a lot of collectable stuff (incl. boots) both vinyl and cd. The shop is still open, however it's just a bunch of dusty old stuff now.

Between Bastille and pere lachaise there are a few. Metal oriented. Metro Voltaire.
And if course there is FNAC, at bastille and chatelet. But they're not very romantic

Latin Quarter has interesting stuff. Gibert Joseph is very good for new stuff in particular LPs. There are some second hand at good prices too. Nearby, there are a lot of second hand stores in rue de écoles and around Panthéon. Librairie Parallèles near Les Halles is a very good place too. I hope you will find good stuff at good prices !

Bettino's in the 11th is excellent, also the Marché aux Puces is well worth a visit (on the first floor - records and memorabilia).
