I`m with you, to a certain extent. They were never a singalong band. They never made heavy ballads. They never were stadium rockers. They never caused the audience to lit their cigarette-lighters in unison. I`m afraid it`s about quirkiness, and quirkiness never reaches the heart. However, I do like a lot of their music, but dare I say; it`s "special" music, in the way the word "special" is used in my country. Definetely "nicht für alle".

One of the greatest band of the 70s saw them live in '76................. and sometimes they also could rock........

I’m excited. I saw them a couple of times but I didn’t think they would ever tour again, at least not the U.S. I hope they can fill arenas in the U.S.

I doubt there's much interest in the states. They need smaller venues if they do. Maybe 3-4 thousand seaters, or smaller. They never had a hit single in the States, although they had one platinum album, Avalon. Their best bet would be to join up with some strong one hit wonder groups that won't outshine them.

Roxy Music were huge when I was in college in the UK, my friends and I all loved them! I would definitely love to see them on this tour, probably in Dallas.

I'm shocked they're playing at the Forum in Los Angeles. That's a big arena. Maybe the cult is bigger than I thought. I just remember Ferry as the guy Jerry Hall dumped for Mick Jagger.

If so, I think we would have known it by now. The original 4 members will be playing, that is Bryan Ferry (vocal/keyboards), Phil Manzanera(guitar), Andy Mackay(sax/oboe) and Paul Thompson (drums). In addition, there will most surely be session players.

My thoughts exactly regarding the Boston show, I don’t think they’ve played an arena this large ever in New England. Last saw him solo at the Boston Opera House(‘18 or ‘19), it was pretty magical. Will Paul Thompson play drums??

Sympathy for the Bryan:

The United Center is a huge venue too; can't believe they will draw well there. I never saw Roxy live and I must admit I'm tempted. My reservation is Bryan Ferry himself. I saw him solo in the early 90's and he was fantastic. I saw him pre-COVID and his band and setlist were great, Ferry's voice was almost a whisper. He just released "Love Letters" and while I like the song his voice is just not the same to me.

Stop the presses, St Vincent is opening for them in the US. This has now become a must-see show. (And the fact she’s opening for them and not vice versa says something about their status.)

A center floor seat for $100 I am in but I think the prices will be $250 and up. If so, count me out.

The woman on the cover is Kari-Ann Muller, wife of Chris Jagger. Roxy Music were fond of Jagger wives!

I saw "The High Road" tour & it was amazing. Phil Manzanera did a solo spot that was Chuck Berry in outer space. Keith would've been proud!

I think it is wishful thinking to get any floor seats for $100 but maybe we will be surprised for a change.

The concerts are not until late summer so if tickets don't sell they will reduce prices the closer you get to the show dates.

I will see what Boston prices are and if too $$$ I will wait until later in the summer to see if they start dropping them.

I looked into getting one ticket for Boston. $300-400 for floor, and $150 for balcony. Pass…..

I had 2 excellent bowl loge seats in my cart for $138 each including TM fees for Boston but decided to wait to see if tix sales are slow and they reduce prices as the concerts gets closer.
