BV has added Rotterdam as a rumoured concert!!! Oh my God, i hope the Stones will play this heavenly place, and not the Amsterdam Arena!!

I have never come up with a satisfactory explanation as to why the Stones are so popular in The netherlands. Is it because that country is at the croosroads of major european contries in that I include UK ? How did ABB run there ?

Holland's just a country with loads of Stones fans. A Bigger Bang was nr. 1 for a couple of weeks I think, and so was Streets Of Love.

The promotional office (Promotone) of the Stones is also located in The Netherlands. And of course you can get great weed there.

The first show outside the UK was in The Netherlands.

Four songs only ((Walking The Dog/Hi-Heel Sneakers/Susie Q/Mona) and then the crowd deceided to redecorate the place!

does amsterdam have any 12,000-25,000 size venues?

i understand that the reason there's so many of that size in the states is because of professional and college hockey/basketball arenas, but it is wierd that 80% of the rumoured european dates are 50,000+. perhaps it's just too early in the rumour phase.

i would like to see them in the netherlands again next summer, but i have heard here (on IORR) that amsterdam arena sound is very bad unless you're near the front because the sound bounces around all the corners.

The people with smoke was a kind of theater/art, and they Boeooooooo away, i was in front of stage at the time
