How many Rarities tracks feature MT? Does he stand to make a few bucks on this (and with the MITS re-issue)? Hope he doesn't make TOO much. He might NEVER get off his ass again!

Tracks 11 "Through the lonely night" and 13 "Let it rock" (live 1970) are featuring Mick Taylor. $2.50 each.

I understand the Rariites tracks that featured MT have a new RW overdubs on his guitar parts. Darryl has also laid down new bass lines to replace Bill's. As it should be.

Let It Rock has Keith doing his great Chuck Berry leads and Through The Lonely Nights has Jimmy Page on guitar as well as Keith and Mick (Taylor)...I honestly can't remember if Taylor has any solo's on it. Great song, though.

So, the two song's that have Taylor on them don't really showcase him anyway.

The solo on Lonely Nights is without question MT's....and it's one of his best-ever, IMO

T&A, you are scaring me with this overdub talk, I almost believe it!

HA! I'm scaring myself - I wouldn't put it past the Stones to actually do that!

They wouldn't really do that. They just don't mention who did what. Like they did on TATTOO YOU (nor Mick Taylor nor Billy Preston or Sonny Rollins were mentioned). They even originally "forgot" who wrote "Love in vain", saying it was Leon Payne. They just omit Bill Wyman from the front cover of RARITIES. To me it looks like the habits that the former Soviet Central Committee sported. If one of its members (e. g. guys like Trotzki) was suspended they just removed his picture from all older photos like the guy was never in the Committee.

Trotski plays some mean solos with the Beatles on Abbey Road, but his parts were overdubbed by Lenin. The whole thing was later erased by McCarthy.
