Quite expensive - Blocks C1 & D1 for €220 - at the end of the stadium, opposite of the stage. An €89 offer like in Munich by Merkur/TZ newspaper would have been nice ....

Guns N’ Roses are playing tonight - July 13th at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna. This is the same stadium the stones will play on the 15th.

And how is that design related to Vienna ?
They could have done something connected with Hundertwasser maybe...

Yes, LDs are always sold as a pair.

That should be the case, but in 2018 London they were also sold by one a piece. Maybe by accident, but it happened to me.

My second favorite LD experience.. first day in the UK.. puled a Keith side Pit in Manchester..a single!
That glitch didn't last long but worked well for me for a couple shows

If you want to save money and pay only 1/3 of the fare of the cityairporttrain, take the "Schnellbahn" in the direction towards "Wien Floridsdorf". You find the red ticket vending machines as you walk down to the train. It also stops at Wien Mitte and takes only few minutes longer.

We paid 8€40 for 2 including train to wien and U (metro) connection
Just a warning, if you have a connexion, it will be not indicated on the ticket, take a picture of the screen
We found no machine to flash the ticket QR code
We had only 1 ticket for 2

Unfortunately I won't be able to attend the show even though I had my lucky dip tickets. Bought it hoping the war would be over by then...but it goes on and the borders still shut for Ukrainian men. Also made a big mistake by not having my tickets insured.

Have a friend in Europe who's attending the show and who supposed to go with me. Can anyone advise if he can get my lucky dip pair if he has a copy of my passport ets? If that works there's still one ticket left so maybe someone from here would join him. Extremely sad to miss this tour especially having my lucky dips (

I have received an email from oeticket regarding my lucky dip, yet they didn’t mention at all where we’re supposed to pick them up.
Perhaps they’ll let us know tomorrow…

Made it! Wow, y’all were not kidding about the travel situation.. Two days travel from states and I was bounced around, canceled, delayed, and zig-zagged between airports not on the original itinerary. The entire day yesterday in the Bologna airport with zero airline personnel prescence to assist (the airport staff themselves were awesome and helped get me on another flight last night!)

But that airport has great food, friendly people, and Wi-Fi and am so happy to go out in search of a real Viennese cafe..

So, which coffeehouse should I try?

Yes, except when they make a mistake and happen to sell singles! That happened even on this tour, with Lyon and Paris. They later corrected that mistake. But to my knowledge, those purchases of only 1 LD were still honored.

And back in 2018 you could buy 1 to 6 LDs for at least some of the shows in the UK. Again, a technical glitch in the system, which was corrected.
