For years I've been thinking '76 is the only hole in the live version of the band. I guess because there's no video to this, that it's in a different category. Of course they sound different in '77, and the setlist is slightly tweaked from the '76 European tour. I hope this is true, and we get a complete set. I really like this version of the band at El Mocambo.

The Licks show at MSG was confirmed via the FSK listing. No way they will gonna release two live albums almost at the same time. I don't believe it. At least not the time frame.

Hampton and LA 75 both November 14
Sticky Fingers Deluxe and Marquee both June 15
Tokio 90 Leeds 82 November 15
Atlantic City and Goats Head Soup Deluxe September 20

This year is their 60th anniversary. Why shouldn't they release both? Licks is not scheduled yet

Why not?
These releases are for die hard fans and after week 1 no one cares at all, 99% of the sales are from pre sales and week 1 so they could release a show or DVD on weekly basis, the audience is always the same.

I also can't believe it.
I think we'll just have more Vegas stuff, which is entertaining and I'll go get a copy but still...

Still 30 years ago I would have drooled over this. Now, 45 years later, not so much. The Rolling Stones is like a ketchup bottle: first comes nothing, then nothing, then, at last, everything...

I think if they were going to release a full show it would be a Love You Live deluxe edition and not just the El Mocambo show alone.

I am also in the " I'll believe it when I see it" camp.

Love You Live is heavily overdubbed. You can hear multiple guitars on the El Mocambo tracks. It will sound much rawer than this. Just Listen to the bootlegs!

I say make it sound as magical as what’s contained on LYL... Will we really get a complete set? That would be amazing!!
