Some movies I will keep watching unplanned when they pass by during channel roulette.
For example: - A Few Good Men ("You can't handle the truth!" Other than that I hate courtroom movies.), - The Spy Who Loved Me ("When this mission is over, I will kill you..."), - A Clockwork Orange (I always feel Mick could have had a role in this one), - Maffia! (brilliantly silly), - The Godfather pt. 3 (the pope complot),
Walking Tall (original, not that piece of crap The Rock movie) Scarface (once a year minimum) One Night at McCool's The Big Labowski most Clint Eastwood movies The Last Waltz most gangster movies A Few Good Men Reservoir Dogs Cape Fear Back to School (dangerfield at his best)
"From Russia With Love" (wish this, not "Goldfinger," had become the template) "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" (best story--best directed?--of any Bond) "Octopussy" (ha ha, I know. easily the most underrated film in the series)
"Apocalypse Now" "A Bridge Too Far" (Connery. Redford. Hackman. Olivier. Caan. Liv Ullman, Edward Fox, Dirk Bogarde, Elliot Gould, Maximillian Schell, Anthony Hopkins, Ryan O'Neal and on...)
"The Godfather Pt. 1 & 2" "All The President's Men" "Downfall" "Fargo"
"Midnight Run"
Rock'n'Roll: "Neil Young & Crazy Horse: Year Of The Horse"
Jaws Good Fellas Braveheart Boondock Saints American Dreamer (chick flick) James Bond movies Mel Brooks movies (esp. Young Frankenstein) Monty Python movies Raising Arizona
All the stupid funny ones Tommy Boy Stripes Dumb and Dumber Team America Dodgeball Something About Mary

yeah Rev....P.S. Hoffman is a good call for that part...he's great at playing oddball characters
Thanks for reminding me about Modern Times Mr Keringer!!! Now that IS a brilliant film which I have seen only once in my life and must make an effort to see again. I saw it years ago and laughed like never before, though the underlying political message about Technological Determinism etc is superbly put across to the viewer.
Other great films: Unforgiven. American Beauty. Heat. Shawshank Redemption. Glen Garry Glen Ross. Saturday Night, Sunday Morning. Get Carter.
