Keith singing "Beth"

duece, I thought you might like this. Last night, I was listening to "Beth" by KISS. This would be a great song for Keith to cover. His voice is even more gravely than Peter Criss. Don't forget the last lines....

...cause me and the boys will be playing all night.

Ha that would be great.

One thing I gotta say about KISS is, they may not be the most talented and may be considered "Cock rock" but they've got alot of great tunes. Melodic hard rock at its finest in my opinion. However, don't get me wrong, they are nowhere near the greatness of the Stones. Just another band I dig.

But yeah, Keith singing Beth would be priceless

duece, Yeah, I'm a KISS fan, but not a fanatic. "Strutter" is a personal favorite. I graduated from high school in 1978, so I got a heavy dose of KISS, Aerosmith, Zep, etc.. as well as Stones. Being from the American south, I also got a huge dose of Southern Rock. I still go see Cheap Trick every chance I get. If you'd like to converse about any of these..

Flesh I hear you flying
but I can't come on right now
me and the boys are waiting
for you to feel free to frooown

Just a few more Hours and I'll be backed on you now
Flesh I fear you falling
Oh flesh what kind of flake
am I for you to take?

Eerily similar to Beth, but 120 years earlier?

If Keith were to sing a KISS song, I'd rather hear him sing Hard Luck Woman. Picture him and Ronnie sitting on stools playing acoustic guitars during Keith's two song set.
I've always been a fan of 70's era KISS.

How about if they did "2000 Man"? Wouldn't that be a full circle demi-tribute to Kiss?

One reason that "Hard Luck Woman" sounds alot like a Faces song is because Paul Stanley wrote the song for Rod Stewart, but Rod did not want to record it.

Yeah they (Peter Criss and Paul) argued about that one. I think they should try a Kiss rock number.

My funny what? Did you mean you're funny? I agree. BTW, "Hard Luck Woman" is a great song! Much better than "Hard Woman"! Keith might prefer "Cold Gin".

Nice idea but Keith is not worried about getting home to the lady after practicing with the band...in his own words "goodbye honey...I'm off to work...see you in a year and a half"
