I feel that the use of an actual photo would have been better rather than the use of cgi.

It's weird to see this version of the tongue as a template

Not bad, but the big bold black font...it's a bit too heavy...

C'mon people. You have to examine them for any embedded nastiness before coming to a verdict.

The beach is less sand-colored than fleshtoned. That could be a belly being licked. A leg. Etc. That sea foam I'm certain is supposed to evoke more than sea foam.

I didn't care for Minneapolis's. But lewdness redeems some of them, and Tampa's is such a case. It's not bad.

i think most of the lithographs are pretty nice. what i don't like is the simplistic printing of the lithos onto the shirts. i'm sick of just a rectangle on a white or black tee.

compare this years posters with the poster for the 2017 and 2018 tours. They really had a concept and were using a design that related to something that had to do with the city they were performing at. But that relation was usually not too obvious (like a beach for the Tampa poster) but something you had to think about it.
Some examples:
- Munich 2017: The tongue like Franz Marc would have painted it (Marc was born in Munich => [iorr.org]

- Düsseldorf 2017 - poster Kraftwerk style: [twitter.com]

- Arnhem 2017 – a poster Escher style [twitter.com]

- Edinburgh 2018 – Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde poster (R.L.Stevenson was born in Endinburgh) [www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com]

etc
etc
etc

Loved the Cardiff one .. was also where I learned first hand that the poster you buy online can be very different from the one at the venue.
Arrived in a different size, and colors also much different. Much more stunning and vibrant at the venue. Still would like to put my hands on an event one.

The Tampa litho looks like a bad Conde Nast travel magazine cover.

I don’t understand it. Must be very Dallas specific.

"Stones" on official band licensed merch is like the NFL referring to the Super Bowl as the "The Big Game" like advertising that don't want to pay to use the term Super Bowl. Just looks Super cheap. Tours outside of the US always have better posters than the US ones.

I remember eating at the Reunion Tower restaurant 25-30 years ago. It was a really cool view with so so food. I guess the restaurant is undergoing renovations at this time. Apparently there is an event space that hosts the occasional show. There was a Ben Kweller (Radish) show a couple of months ago.

I'm thinking these posters are reflective of the times still not being right. There's no real joy or celebration at all. We'd be better off commissioning Hunter Biden for this tour.........or me haha
